Each year at The Inn at Belden Village we spend Father’s Day celebrating our assisted living residents who are dads. This year was no exception – we had over 50 people who attended our Father’s Day party, filled with entertainment and refreshments.
The food was the best part of the day, as we had barbecue fare provided by our Executive Chef Paul Forchione. The food really gave the party a traditional Father’s Day cookout feel, perfect for a lovely summer day. Guests and residents enjoyed the pulled pork, fruit salad, and delicious cupcakes.
For entertainment, Harry Canary sang and played banjo while captivating the audience with his selection of old songs that our residents love. Our activity director Debbie Brindack served refreshments and greeted guests. We can’t thank Debbie enough for putting together such fun parties like this one!
Our Father’s Day event was a success and a great opportunity to honor so many of our residents who are and have been dedicated fathers. There’s nothing better than seeing our residents’ faces light up when their families come to visit. Keep your schedule open for upcoming events at The Inn at Belden Village!
