Senior Spotlight: Nancy Jaeb
Nancy Jaeb was born in the charming town of Tuscarawas, Ohio. She grew up on a small family farm, where life was filled with the daily bustle of caring for animals and the simple joys of country living. Nancy was fortunate to live close to her cousins, and their childhood was full of laughter, games, and adventures that turned ordinary days into treasured memories.
She attended school in Tuscarawas, choosing a path that emphasized family and community over college. Her life would soon take a romantic turn when she met her future husband at a dance in Massillon. It was a night that changed everything. The spark between them was instant, and from that moment on, they never stopped dancing — through life’s joys and challenges, hand in hand, for an incredible 61 years.
Life at the Inn at Belden Village
Now, Nancy has found a new home at The Inn at Belden Village. After her son toured several options, he knew this was the right place. Nancy moved in three months ago, and she’s already made a lasting impression. She quickly embraced the friendly atmosphere and has grown to love the people, the staff, and the wide range of activities here, especially bingo, which remains a favorite.
A lover of quiet moments too, Nancy enjoys reading and keeping up with current events by watching the news. One of her greatest joys here is being reunited with her first cousin, Gloria Shepard, who also calls The Inn at Belden Village home. Their bond, formed in childhood, continues to bring warmth and companionship to their days.
Dance Is for Life
Nancy still loves to dance. Whether it’s a gentle sway to a familiar tune or simply moving to the rhythm in her heart, she insists she’ll never stop dancing, a beautiful reflection of her enduring spirit and zest for life.
At The Inn at Belden Village, Nancy brings joy, grace, and a sparkle that lights up the room. We’re so grateful to have her as part of our family.
