Easter Cantata Service 2020

The Inn at Belden Village celebrated Easter this year with an Easter cantata service. If you’re not familiar with a cantata, it’s a special vocal performance by a choir that’s typical for holidays like Easter and Christmas. It started out as a simple single voice madrigal in the early 17th century and has evolved into a more substantial performance often involving instruments and a choir.

Since residents are not able to see visitors at this time, we wanted to make Easter extra special and make sure we did something to bring the residents together. Many residents joined us for the service, and we celebrated by singing songs together and waving banners during the service.

When times are challenging and residents are not able to see their families, we’re doing everything we can to keep them busy, engaged, and spirits high. From everyone at The Inn, we sincerely hope you had a beautiful Easter!
